Becoming a Dog Trainer Series: Recommended Videos

  • Sharebar

First of all, congratulations if you’ve made it this far; it shows that you are really interested in becoming a dog trainer, or at least interested on what I have to say. ;)

Now its time to share the one thing that, for me, is a lot of fun. Who else loves watching videos? Or better yet, who else loves watching dog videos and shows? It is one of the best times of the week for me, when I get to relax on the couch, cuddle with Simba (my Italian Greyhound) under a soft and cozy blanket. Perfect!

Today, there are many dog shows on T.V. I really enjoy watching Victoria Stillwel It’s Me or the Dog show. I particularly follow her methods of training and her shows are very instructive. The other show that I love about dogs is Dogs 101, where I can learn and better understand various dog breeds.

Another tv show that I always find interesting to watch is NOVA. A while ago, PBS aired this amazing documentary about dogs, it is called: Dogs Decoded and I think that anyone who has a dog will enjoy watching it – very instructive. Following this documentary, I would like to recommend these other PBS show: Dogs that Changed the World, Through a Dog’s Eyes (Full Movie for free!) and Why We Love Cats and Dogs. – Nature (Full Movie for free!).

I also want to share with you something that I found out not long ago. The website has a great collection of dog videos where you can make purchases and the best of all, you can rent the videos, just like Netflix. What a great idea!

I think that it’s all for today. If you have any recommendation feel free to share on the comments area below or at my page on Facebook.

I hope this list of videos were helpful in making you learn and understand more about our best friend.
